Ashley Jackson was born and raised in Houston, but loves exploring different places around the world. She graduated from the Graphic Communications program at the University of Houston in 2014.
Passionate about hand lettering and illustration, you’ll usually find her drawing in her sketchbook (or ipad) or cozied up in her library with a good book. Her goal is to use her fun design aesthetic to partner with nonprofits, to make the world more enjoyable. She started creating a children’s book recently, combining her playful style with her passion for reading.
For years, Ashley was on the board of UH GAP (UH Graphics Alumni Partnership), a nonprofit, where she lead a team to raise money to award yearly scholarships to students. The goal was to be able to use alumni resources and help students navigate their way past graduation and into the design community. Previously, she was the Secretary and Co-Communications chair where she created content for social media, emails and blog posts.
She loves meeting new people and creating together, so reach out on social media or email! Let’s get to work!!
